Red Rag Collective Meeting

was at 218 Liverpool Rd on Sun 8th June '86

Money: the Rag is seriously in debt. Ideas of raising money:

 - more standing orders

 - would the Borough COuncil advertise in the Rag, e.g. for
   playschemes

 - a jumble sale was suggested if anyone wants to do one

 - possibly an article in the Evening Post (and this get paid for it)

 - a Veggie dining is being planned for Red Rag

Events: John is going to take over Events

 - a reminder to put events in the big black diary in Acorn or phone
   them in, being it's beginning to seem a little sparse.

New people: it was felt that new people to help would be good

 - an idea was to profile different groups in Reading to talk &
   political / pressure groups who get the Rag and ask what they want
   from it, and to show in the profiles what the groups are trying to
   achieve in Reading

 - another idea was for different groups themselves to collate the Rag
   instead of just giving articles.

Next collective: 6th July, 5pm at 92a London Rd.
